Term Definitions

In CAP (Civil Air Patrol), you will often hear lots of acronyms and abbreviations tossed around. It can sometimes be a bit intimidating or awkward for new civilian members since civilians don’t use very many acronyms in daily language and don’t know what the abbreviations mean. Hopefully this guide will help new members to wade through some of the acronyms and feel more comfortable when they hear them.
